This Service Privacy Notice explains how Netblinks LLC (“Netblinks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when individuals create or administer Netblinks accounts, use the Netblinks analytics service, communicate with support, or otherwise interact with Netblinks in connection with the service.
1. Scope and Our Roles
This Notice covers personal information for which Netblinks determines the purposes and means of processing, including account, workspace-administration, service-usage, security, support, and business-contact information.
It does not govern Customer Personal Data that Netblinks processes on behalf of a customer through connected databases, query results, dashboards, documents, or other customer-controlled content. For that processing, the customer ordinarily acts as controller or business and Netblinks acts as processor or service provider under the applicable customer agreement and Data Processing Addendum.
If your employer or another organization provides your account, that organization controls your workspace, may administer your access, and may be able to view or manage information associated with your account. Direct questions about that organization’s use of your information to the organization.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with the service, we may collect:
- identity and contact information, including name, business email address and telephone number;
- authentication identifiers and account status supplied through our identity system;
- organization, tenant, workspace, role and membership information;
- subscription, plan, entitlement and usage information;
- configuration information, including selected database type, AI model or provider, and deployment preferences;
- limited database-connection metadata, such as connection name, database type, host, port, database name and selected schemas;
- support requests, feedback and communications;
- device, browser, IP address, request identifier, access time, application events, error, security and diagnostic information;
- records showing acceptance of applicable terms and notices; and
- billing or transaction information if paid online billing is introduced. Payment-card data should be collected by the applicable payment provider rather than stored directly by Netblinks unless we expressly state otherwise.
Customer-provided database credentials and AI-provider keys are sensitive. Netblinks uses them only to provide the configured integration and applies the credential-protection measures described in our security materials. Customers should use dedicated, least-privilege credentials.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- create, authenticate, maintain and secure accounts;
- establish and administer workspaces, memberships, trials and subscriptions;
- provide requested features and customer support;
- enforce authorization, plan and usage limits;
- diagnose errors, monitor performance and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- communicate service, security, account and legal notices;
- understand and improve service operation;
- maintain legal, accounting, audit and acceptance records; and
- comply with law and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use Customer Personal Data to train general-purpose AI models unless a customer expressly agrees in a separate written agreement.
4. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract or requested pre-contract steps, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that are not overridden by individual rights, and consent where specifically requested.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information:
- to service providers that support hosting, identity, email, customer support, security, monitoring or other service operations;
- to AI or integration providers when directed by the customer’s configuration;
- to professional advisers subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- to authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of relevant assets; or
- with your instruction or consent.
Our current provider information is available on the Subprocessor and Provider List. A provider selected directly by a customer through bring-your-own-key functionality may have a direct contractual relationship with that customer.
6. International Processing
Netblinks is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Netblinks or approved providers operate. Where required, we use an applicable transfer mechanism and supplementary safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
7. Retention
We retain account and service information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, administer the customer relationship, comply with law, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it is held.
Customer Personal Data is retained and deleted according to the customer agreement, Data Processing Addendum, available product functionality and documented operational procedures. Information in backups may remain until normal backup rotation, subject to continued protection and restricted use.
Additional retention details may be specified in an applicable customer agreement, Order, Data Processing Addendum, or retention schedule made available for the relevant service.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. These may include identity and access controls, role-based authorization, tenant-scoped access, encryption in transit, credential encryption, audit information and restricted service-to-service communication.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers and users are responsible for protecting their credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access to support@netblinks.com.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, or to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request or complain to a privacy regulator.
Submit a request to support@netblinks.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority. If Netblinks processes the relevant information for a customer, we may direct your request to that customer.
